But, he can't really blame them... that much. Just would have been nice to have them around a little longer is all and yeah, that even includes Dante.
It's been however many days and weeks since that day and Nero is found alone in the garage working on the van without Nico for support; mentioned something about a much needed girl's night out with Kyrie last he heard. The engine somehow has itself shot again and with the hood of it popped open, he twists a few things here and there with a tool, back facing the garage entrance much like it had been all those many months ago.
And, like before, he pulls himself away from under the hood and glances over his shoulder at the sudden presence he feels around... and who he sees? Well, it has him sort of just stare for a long moment because... deja vu anyone?
Hopping down, he reaches for a rag and begins to wipe his hands on it, still looking over his shoulder to the man. ]
